Ashley & Lara | Our story:
Ashley & I met many years ago in the lovely state of New Jersey. We both worked at a small coffee house - me as a barista behind the counter, and Ashley in the kitchen. We went our separate ways about 6 years ago. I moved up to Boston to pursue a career in photography, and Ashley went to the Culinary Institute of America.
Fast forward to April of this year when I was in the planning stages for my own wedding. It was around this time that one of the weddings I photographed was featured on Style Me Pretty. Ashley, an avid wedding blog reader, saw my feature and was shocked to see my name. She posted a link on her tumblr page, which I decided to check out. I spent a good deal of time looking through the rest of the images she had collected. I loved every single one of them and I could tell immediately that we had a similar aesthetic. Long story short…we reconnected - the internet has ways of bringing people together. I asked her if she would help design our wedding - and be there the day-of to make sure our vision came together. She did all of that and much more! I couldn’t have been happier with everything that she did for us that day!

About us:
Ashley is constantly searching for the lovely, eventful, and whimsy in life. She’s inspired by the couples she works with and all the fine little details that go into making every minute of their wedding day beautiful.
Lara is inspired by the generations of stories that make each of us who we are. She strives to create photographs that capture who you honestly are - from beautiful to quirky and everywhere in between.

Each style board represents a general look or aesthetic for the decor. Once a winning couple is chosen, Ashley will work directly with them to personalize the color palette, design, and motif, that when combined, will create a stunningly well-thought-out look for their big day.

Details:
- You need to be getting married in 2012
- You must not have already booked a photographer and/or event designer/planner
- Both of us must be available on your wedding date. If either of us are already booked for your date, we'll notify you right away
- Ashley is close to Philadelphia and Lara is near Boston. Travel anywhere between Boston and Philadelphia will be included. We're very open to traveling anywhere else, however travel expenses will need to be covered by you
- We can't already know you - this goes for family, friends and couples who have already contacted us

Contest will run from December 1st, 2011 - January 1st, 2012. Entries must be in by 11:59pm EST on January 1st to be eligible. A winner will be announced on Sunday, January 15th, 2012.
